Thanks to the ladies at Atlanta Dish for giving a heads up about the awesome event at El Taco last night. From 9 pm on it was $1 tacos and $2 beers. How great of a deal is that? It was in honor of Shaun Doty being on Sunday Paper's list of top 25 chefs. As per usual, I stuffed myself silly with their exceptionally tasty tacos. Couldn't resist the siren call of the fried chicken taco with Mexican corn, and sampled the pork belly and steak, too. All delish!
We're off to Shaun's for New Years, and he told me last night that he's getting some amazing fish in for the occasion. Can't wait!
