Atlanta Easter Dining Roundup

Easter bunnyPollen counts don't lie, spring is in the error. And that means it's time to put on your pastel best and head out to Easter brunch! That's right, that stealth bunny has snuck up on you once again - it's this Sunday, April 8.

Never fear, there are no shortage of places where you can get your brunch on. Here's a selection of Atlanta restaurants rolling out the pink carpet...

South City Kitchen
Both South City Kitchens will serve a traditional, Southern-style 3-course prix fixe brunch for only $29 per person and $14.50 for kids under 12.

ONE midtown kitchen
ONE will open early to serve brunch from 11 a.m. to 3 p.m. If you can’t make it for brunch, ONE’s Easter celebration will continue through dinner starting at 5:30 p.m.

TWO urban licks
Enjoy a delicious brunch from 10 a.m. to 3 p.m. at TWO. There's even an Easter egg hunt and a visit from the Easter Bunny for the little ones. Hunts will be at 11 a.m. and 1 p.m.

Join Parish for a special Easter brunch from 9 a.m. to 3 p.m. Parish will offer a festive Easter egg hunt with special prizes starting at 12 p.m.

This place has a line around the building for brunch on a good day, so I imagine this Sunday will be pandemonium! Enjoy brunch from 8 a.m. to 4 p.m. No reservations, so get there early and expect a wait!

Lobby at TWELVE
In an interesting twist, not only with the Easter Bunny be there, but so will Alice in Wonderland. Brunch is 10:30 a.m. to 3 p.m. Hunt, paint and enjoy Easter brunch activities including egg hunt, egg painting, face painting and posing for a picture with the Easter bunny and Alice. Cost is all inclusive; $39 for adults and $12 for kids 5 – 12 years old. Activities and brunch are complimentary for children under 5 years old. Brunch is from 11 a.m. to 3 p.m and includes their usual brunch menu with added chef specials just for Easter.

HAVEN's brunch starts at 10:30 a.m. Chef Stephen Herman will prepare a three-course prix-fixe menu featuring items such as Asparagus and Vidalia Onion Quiche (baby lettuces, lemon vinaigrette), Eggs Benedict (Benton’s Ham, Spinach, Hollandaise) and Strawberry Pound Cake (vanilla ice cream). Brunch costs $29.00 per person and an a la carte children’s menu will be available for $8.00 per item.

Celebrate Pasqua, which is Italian for Easter, at Valenza on Sunday starting at 10:30. Brunch features a three-course prix-fixe menu for $29.00 per person. Chef Matt Swickerath will prepare traditional Italian brunch favorites, as well as offer an a la carte children’s menu for $8.00 per item.

Chicken and the Egg
Chicken and the Egg is open from 9:30 a.m. to 5 p.m. and will begin serving special Easter menu items at 11 a.m. The cost of the items ranges from $12-$25. For reservations call 678-388-8813.

Fleming's Prime Steakhouse & Wine Bar
Fleming's (in Dunwoody) is serving an elegant three-course sit-down menu from 11:30 a.m. to 3 p.m. For an appetizer, guests can choose between wedge salad and fresh fruit medley. Entrée course options include the filet mignon Benedict, New Orleans-style French toast, Fleming’s frittata or steakhouse filet mignon Cobb. All entrées are served with potatoes O’Brien and sautéed green beans. Choice of desserts includes white chocolate bread pudding, crème brulee or w.alnut turtle pie. Ray’s at Killer Creek
Ray's (in Alpharetta) is serving Easter brunch from 9 a.m. to 3 p.m. The cost is $29.95 for adults, $14.95 for kids ages 5-10 and free for children 4 and under. For reservations, call 770-649-0064.

Ray’s on the River
Ray's on the River will have brunch from 9 a.m. to 8 p.m. The cost is $39.95 for adults, $19.95 for kids ages 5-10 and free for children 4 and under. For reservations, call 770-955-1187.

Fox Brothers Bar-B-Q
Want to celebrate at home? Fox Bros is now taking pre-orders for Easter baskets. For $69.95, Easter baskets will include a seven to nine pound spiral sliced root beer-glazed smoked ham, your choice of two sides, cornbread and honey butter and four orders of banana pudding.
