Atlanta's Waffold is already closed after just a month. I don't want to say I told you so, but I totally did. I just wish they'd stayed open long enough for me to sate my fried chicken and waffles craving.

Centennial Park's Googie Burger won the battle of the burgers this weekend in Va-Hi. They will now go on to compete in the World Food Championships, featuring Adam Richman of Man Vs. Food. I've never eaten there, but their winning burger - Short Rib Bacon Cheddar Burger (Georgia grass fed smoked short rib with Nueske's Bacon, Red Dragon cheddar cheese, Vidalia onions marinated in Coca-Cola Ketchup, cilantro cole slaw, fried bread and butter pickles on a fresh pretzel bun) sounds delish.
Shaun Doty is chicken crazy. He's already slated to open another chicken joint, Chickabiddy, at Atlantic Station. His first, Bantam & Biddy doesn't even open until October.
